About the Position

The Ceres Food Film Festival (Ceres)  is seeking to recruit a Producer for the Ceres Food Film Festival on a part-time basis. The position is well suited for an emerging or seasoned professional with experience in the food space, particularly in food-related media and TV/film/event production. The Producer will be at the heart of a passionate environment, where creativity and precision are essential in shaping the future of our brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Collaboration & Creative Alignment: Serve as the right hand to the Festival Director, ensuring smooth coordination between festival operations, partnerships, and programming while supporting the festival’s creative vision. Collaborate with marketing to ensure promotions reflect the festival’s strategy. Maintain clear communication across team members to align schedules, priorities, and logistics.

  • Partnerships & Industry Relations: Build and manage relationships with filmmakers, chefs, vendors, sponsors, and industry partners to strengthen the festival's impact.

  • Event Planning, Execution, & Problem-Solving: Oversee logistics and execution for screenings, food experiences, and venue operations. Manage on-site coordination, anticipate challenges, and ensure a seamless experience for attendees.

  • Budget & Resource Management: Assist in managing event-related expenses, optimizing resources while ensuring high-quality execution.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: A strong background in TV/film production and food media. Familiarity with documentary production is a plus.

Compensation:

This is a part-time, contract-based role with an estimated commitment of 18–22 hours per week. The position is compensated at $3,500–$5,000 per month, depending on experience and scope of work.
