Jennifer Berg
Jennifer Schiff Berg graduated from the Department of Nutrition, Food Studies, and Public Health at New York University with a master's degree in Food Service Management in 1996 and a PhD in Food Studies in 2006. She has taught numerous courses in the Department since 1990 and now serves as the director for the Graduate Program in Food Studies.
With a focus on the intersection of food, culture, and identity, she conducts her own research on Jewish American foodways.
Berg serves as the treasurer for the Association for the Study of Food and Society, an international organization dedicated to an interdisciplinary discourse on the role of food in culture and society and advisory board member for the American Institute of Wine and Food. She co-chair Days of Taste, a yearly farm-to-table program for 2000 New York City public school students. She is a certified Greenmarket tour guide and tour market trainer for the New York City Council on the Environment.

Antoinette Bruno
Bruno became CEO of StarChefs.com, combining her culinary training with her business know-how. The mission statement of StarChefs became about giving chefs the tools they need to be the best they can be in a fractious and competitive industry. In 2001, Bruno also took on the role of Editor-in-Chief, leading StarChefs to become an industry authority on chefs and food trends. The Rising Star Awards were launched in 2002 as a platform for young chefs to be recognized broadly. And in 2006, Bruno launched the International Chefs Congress, a professionally culinary symposium like no other in the world, attended by the who's who of chefs and over 2,000 of their peers.
Bruno earned a postgraduate degree from the London School of Economics and her MBA from Harvard Business School. She’s been a judge on “Iron Chef,” a guest on morning programs across the country, and was nominated for James Beard Awards for “Best Multi-Media Feature” and “Best Food Website” and awarded Top Women in New York Foodservice & Hospitality 5 years in a year. Bruno is a member of the International Association of Culinary Professionals, The James Beard Foundation, and Women Presidents’ Organization; Antoinette was elected to the board of Women Chefs and Restaurateurs in 2012 and has served on four boards over the course of her career.

Sylvia Caminer
Sylvia Caminer is an Emmy Award-winning director and producer. She received more than 15 top awards at film festivals worldwide for her narrative feature directorial debut, FOLLOW HER (2023). She previously directed the documentaries, AN AFFAIR OF THE HEART (2012), about Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Rick Springfield; TANZANIA: A JOURNEY WITHIN (2011), an odyssey that explores beauty and suffering in East Africa; and the Daytime Emmy-winning travel show, SAMANTHA BROWN’S PLACES TO LOVE (2018-present). She has also produced more than fifteen independent features including the Harvey Keitel WWII film, CHOSEN, and THE DELI, BLUE MOON, LOVE N’ DANCING, GRACE and BREAKING POINT. Her production company, DolGer Films, is actively developing several projects for Sylvia to direct including a screenplay based on the U.K. sci-fi time travel novel, AND THEN SHE VANISHED, which is Book 1 of a 7 book series.

Cassie Goldring
Cassie Goldring is the Founder and CEO of Levitate Creative, a boutique creative consulting company specializing in brand partnerships, experiential strategy, sponsorship sales, talent strategy, brand building, and go-to-market initiatives. Before launching her own company, Cassie worked across diverse industries and companies, such as United Talent Agency, The New York Times, and Conde Nast. She was on the founding team for the inaugural New York Times Food Festival, securing major sponsorships and creating innovative marketing programs (the team received The New York Times 2019 Publisher's Award for their efforts).
Cassie has always been passionate about the intersection of culture and film. As a student, she was the recipient of the Duke University Benenson Grant, which enabled her to write and produce a short film accepted into four international student film festivals. Cassie has built her career by helping some of the world’s most iconic brands harness the power of strategic partnerships and authentic storytelling. With a deep commitment to creativity and innovation, she continues to drive meaningful connections and transformative experiences for brands and audiences alike.

Joanna Gryfe
Joanna is a creative executive who specializes in connecting Content with Commerce. She has put her expertise to work for brands including Rachael Ray, Chamberlain Coffee, Tastemade, Food Network, VOGUE, MTV, L’OREAL, Pepsi, Budweiser and many more.
Her role co-creating viral sensation Tiny Kitchen and trailblazing social content best practices while scaling Tastemade’s studio production from 3 shows / year to more than 3 shows / day earned her Webby and Streamy Award accolades.
She currently works as an independent consultant helping brands connect and scale their omni-channel marketing, content production and e-commerce operations. She has yet to meet a pasta she doesn't like.

Andrew Kaplan
Andrew “Kappy” Kaplan is a trusted culinary, hospitality, foodservice industry, food media and philanthropy professional. A professionally trained chef, Kappy is VP of Culinary Operations for the Rachael Ray brand and is the Co-Founder and Director of Yum-o!, Rachael Ray’s nonprofit organization focused on cooking education and ending childhood hunger in America.
As Host and Executive Producer of Beyond the Plate, Kappy sits down with the world’s culinary elite to explore their journeys into the industry and the thoughtful and innovative ways that they make a social impact in their communities. A father of twins himself, he is also the Host and Executive Producer of Clean Plate Club, a podcast for kids and grown-ups that offers an engaging lineup of nutritious and delicious recipes to inspire cooks of all ages.
Prior to working with Rachael Ray, Kappy served as a project manager for the South Beach Wine & Food Festival, overseeing its headline events, including Kidz Kitchen and Burger Bash, while also producing the celebrity chef cooking demonstrations. Kappy has also provided freelance support in production for additional food and wine events in major US markets as well as in China, Italy, Jamaica, and Mexico, such as the annual Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, Colorado and the Chicago Entertaining Showcase.

Adam Kaye
Adam Kaye is the Co-Founder and Chief Culinary Officer of The Spare Food Co., a food and supply-chain innovation platform for upcycled foods and drinks crafted from overlooked ingredients. Over two decades as chef and culinary director at Blue Hill at Stone Barns, a restaurant at the forefront of the next food movement, sited on a working farm, Adam developed a unique understanding of the ways we can affect systemic change in our food system. His chef-driven culinary approach is the special sauce that drives the creation of new food solutions that live at the intersection of real ingredients, better agricultural practices, and human and environmental health.

Hannah Laufer-Rottman
Ms. Laufer-Rottman is the founder of Palms for Life Fund and CFFF. She is a former employee of the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) where she worked for almost 30 years in several senior positions. She has traveled extensively in developing countries and has had first-hand experience dealing with impoverished communities. She has managed anti-poverty projects, large feeding programs, and humanitarian operations in Burkina Faso, Bolivia, Brazil, Ecuador and Nicaragua. Her experience includes school feeding programs, vulnerable groups’ projects, advancement of women, rural development and assets creation.
